- In may 2010 UNDOC released a training manual thai is to serve as a practical guide and training tool for criminal justice practitioners. The manual covers a wide range of issues, among others the role of smuggled migrants and smugglers of migrants in investigations, investigative approaches, financial investigations, covert investigative approaches, intelligence, legislative issues, international cooperation and human rights.
The manual is the result of a two year project, launched by UNDOC with support from INTERPOL, EUROPOL and SOCA with the aim of elaborating basic training modules on preventing and combating the smuggling of migrants.
