The 14th Vienna Migration Group Panel Discussion was organized in cooperation with the Greek Chairmanship of the OSCE. The main purpose of the event was to present the World Migration Report 2008, and to have migration experts as well as representatives of migrant countries of origin and of destination in the wider European area comment on the accuracy and reality of the World Migration Report. Given that Migration and Managing Labour Mobility constitute an important issue for all states, the pannelists were talking about each participating country’s reactions to the report and its applicability to their immigration and emigration realities.
