A growing body of practice and international evidence shows that case management increases compliance and case resolution while improving individuals’ coping and well-being. By building trust in the system, providing stability and facilitating agency, case management increases engagement and participation in the migration process, providing an effective approach to reducing irregularity while avoiding immigration detention.
