Summary

Demand for trafficked labor cannot easily be separated from demand for labor more generally in certain sectors. Because many of the individuals and businesses discussed in this report are not directly involved in trafficking, their demand is not for trafficked labor per se. Therefore, this report looks separately into four categories of demand and discusses what individuals and businesses are looking for that leads to trafficking in persons.
