- Summary
- The report is the result of the first in-depth study of decision-making for women seeking asylum since the introduction of the New Asylum Model in 2007. Asylum Aid examined 45 files from women who claimed asylum between 2007 and 2010, and interviewed 9 of them. The report shows that women are too often refused asylum on arbitrary and/or subjective grounds.
