- Summary
- The report criticises EU border control policies, which disregard international standards, by failing to screen and provide appropriate services and protection for vulnerable people such as unaccompanied children, asylum seekers, and victims of trafficking. “Governments should be ashamed of border control and screening policies that can lead to abuse or death, and that fail those who may be in most need of aid, including unaccompanied children, trafficking victims, and refugees”, said Nisha Varia, Senior Researcher.
