Summary
Countries included in EU Kids Online are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the UK. Unless countries are specified, findings are weighted averages across all countries. It is acknowledged that it is particularly difficult to measure private or upsetting aspects of a child's experience. The survey was conducted in children's homes, as a face to face interview. It included a selfcompletion section for sensitive questions to avoid being heard by parents, other family members or the interviewer. For full details of the project methodology, materials, technical fieldwork report and research ethics, see www.eukidsonline.net. This document can be downloaded here.
