More specifically the paper deals with the relation between safety, trafficking and globalisation. Trafficking is directly linked to globalisation and the new structure of economy. With globalisation the infrastructure and economy of the world have become more network based, amking it easier to trade and travel across borders. While this hase many positive aspects it has also allowed trafficking to reach a whole new dimension. In the paper the relation between globalisation and trafficking is being explored and cross referenced with the concept of safety.
